As part of an internship in Sweden, I had the incredible opportunity to collaborate with Electrolux in a mission to discover sustainable solutions, aiming to minimise waste generated from white goods appliances at the end of their life cycle.

Global Grad Show Dubai - Recognition

As part of my Final Year Project, I created "Intox," an alcohol detection safety system. Recognising its potential, the renowned Global Grad Show invited its submission for a prestigious competition. This validation fueled my passion for design and technology, motivating me to pursue innovative solutions with a positive impact. "Intox" stands as a testament to my commitment to making a difference through creative problem-solving.

Beginning of Design Career

I embarked on a transformative journey in the design industry, joining a dynamic graphic and print studio as a graphic designer. Embracing this industry-based setting, I honed my skills in the Adobe Suite and unleashed my creativity, gaining invaluable experience that fueled my professional growth.

Career Growth

May 2021 marked a significant turning point as I transitioned to a more focused industrial design role, taking the helm as the head designer in an esteemed Exhibition, Staging & Event Production Company working alongside companies such as Coca Cola, Sky, OPW, KPMG, Mercedes, and Aperol. Here, I honed my skills to a remarkable level, becoming highly proficient in Adobe, CAD, and rendering software, empowering me to drive innovation and creativity in every aspect of the design process.

Journey into Jiu-Jitsu

I ventured into the world of Jiu-Jitsu, embracing the art of grappling and self-discipline. With dedication and perseverance, I delved into this martial art, learning valuable lessons of resilience and mental focus. The journey into Jiu-Jitsu not only honed my physical strength but also instilled a sense of camaraderie and personal growth, enriching my life both on and off the mat.

First steps to a UX Career

Having earned a degree in Product Design and Technology, this gave me an understanding of UX design but I wanted to further enhance my UX knowledge and skills. I made a decision to enrol in the Professional Diploma in UX Design offered by the UX Design Institute. This industry-approved qualification would provide me with the essential mindset, confidence, and skills needed to excel as a UX designer on a global scale. I eagerly anticipated building a rewarding career in UX, armed with the knowledge and expertise to create impactful user-centric solutions.

Having achieved a remarkable 95% in the UX design course, it was time for reflection. The learning experience was invaluable, equipping me with essential knowledge and tools that will undoubtedly shape my future career.
